DIY | fluffy fall

If you wore your Birkenstocks as much as me this summer, the thought of saying good bye to these comforty shoes brings a thought of distress, however after falling in love with Célines furry sandals I figured I could bring my Birkenstocks to autumn by simply adding fur.

1| measure the Birkenstocks straps, length and width
2| cut fur
3| place sticky pads along the sides of the Birkenstocks straps [they don't damage the shoe]
4| stick the fur onto the shoes placing pressure on each pad for a few seconds

INTERIOR | switch up

Using marble sticky back plastic brought from eBay [£6.49]

1| measure the light switch
2| with a pencil draw the measurements on the back of the plastic
3| use craft knife and a ruler to cut the plastic to size
4| unscrew the switch from the wall
5| stick the plastic on the switch being sure there is no air bubbles
6| pierce the plastic using the screws to create the holes and screw it back on to the wall

DIY | jars are free

Remove the labels and wash out your used jars, they make good storage pots and don't cost you a penny.
